Lash Lifts Reversal

A Lash Lift Reversal is a specialist treatment designed to help relax an unwanted, uneven or overly strong lash lift and bring the lashes closer to their natural appearance.

It may be suitable if your lashes have been lifted more than you wanted, the curl is too tight, or you're unhappy with the overall result. Your natural lashes will be assessed carefully before treatment to determine whether a reversal is appropriate.

What to Expect

The reversal treatment works by carefully relaxing the existing lift. The aim is to create a softer, more natural-looking result while taking the condition of your natural lashes into consideration.

Results can vary depending on the original lash lift, the products used, how recently the treatment was carried out and the condition of your natural lashes.

Important Information

A lash lift reversal is not always suitable immediately after a lash lift, particularly if the natural lashes are dry, fragile or over-processed. In some cases, the safest option may be to allow the lashes time to recover naturally.

A consultation and lash assessment will be carried out before treatment, and we will always prioritise the health and condition of your natural lashes.

If you're unhappy with a lash lift you have received elsewhere, please let us know when booking so we can assess your lashes and advise whether a reversal is suitable.

Post-Lash Removal Aftercare Tips

After a lash lift reversal, your natural lashes need gentle care while they settle. Following the correct aftercare can help maintain a comfortable, healthy-looking lash condition.

  • Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours, unless your technician advises otherwise.

  • Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers and excessive sweating during the initial 24-hour period.

  • Avoid rubbing, pulling or manipulating your lashes.

  • Be gentle when cleansing and removing makeup around the eye area.

  • Avoid eyelash curlers, as your lashes may still be delicate following the reversal.

  • Avoid harsh or strong products around the eye area.

  • Avoid excessive heat and steam directly on the lashes.

  • Gently brush your lashes with a clean spoolie once they are dry.

  • Consider using a suitable lash conditioning serum recommended by your technician to support the appearance and condition of your natural lashes.

  • Allow your lashes time to recover before having another lash lift or chemical lash treatment.

Your lashes may not return immediately to their exact pre-treatment appearance, as this depends on their natural growth cycle and the condition of the lashes before the reversal.

If you experience persistent redness, swelling, irritation or discomfort, contact Gold Beautique for advice and seek appropriate medical attention if symptoms are severe or worsening.
