Gold Beautique is proud to support Carney’s Community with Mensrtual cycle products to help eridicate period poverty

Carney’s Community is a local charity that supports vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young adults aged 11–30 across Wandsworth, Lambeth and surrounding areas.

The charity provides ongoing, intensive one-to-one mentoring, offering young people the support, guidance and encouragement they need for as long as it is needed.

Through education, personal development and practical support, Carney’s helps young people build:

• Employability skills

• Discipline and confidence

• Self-belief

• A sense of purpose and direction

Alongside mentoring, Carney’s provides a safe and supportive community environment through activities including sport, arts programmes, youth work and social enterprise opportunities.

The charity also offers weekly free boxing sessions, healthy cooked meals after sessions, and business development programmes, helping young people develop skills, resilience and positive futures.

Supporting Period Poverty

Periods are a normal part of life, yet many people struggle to access the essential products they need each month.

Period poverty can affect physical health, mental wellbeing, confidence and everyday life. The lack of access to menstrual products can cause stress, embarrassment and shame, while the stigma surrounding periods can prevent people from speaking openly or seeking support.

Everyone deserves access to period products so they can manage their menstrual health with dignity, comfort and confidence.

Gold Beautique is committed to supporting our community by providing essential period products every month to help those affected by period poverty.

Together, we can help raise awareness, reduce stigma and make a positive difference.
