Types of Waxing Services
Gold Beautique offer a wide range of waxing treatments for men and women. We use top of the range products to compliment different skin types and areas of hair.
Warm Wax

-
Warm waxing is when a thin layer of warm wax is applied over unwanted hair.
-
A cloth strip is applied over the wax and removed quickly against the hair growth.
-
The hair is pulled directly from the root (depilation).
-
Hair takes longer to grow back as the root needs to regenerate a hair follicle.
-
Warm wax is perfect for thinner hair such as leg, arm and lip.
-
Warm waxing is a non-permanant type of hair removal, however hair will grow less frequently and less thicker. 2-3mm is the ideal length for warm waxing.
-
Depending on your hair growth cycle we recommend you return for your next wax in 4 -6 weeks
-
Times vary treatments so please ask your therapist.
Hot Wax

-
The hot waxing method uses thicker wax which is spread evenly over unwanted hair.
-
As the wax cools the wax grips around the hair shaft.
-
Once the wax is removed it takes the hair with it, this method also takes the hair from the root.
-
Hot waxing is a non-permanant type of hair removal, however hair will grow less frequently and less thicker.
-
Hot wax is ideal for thicker hair such as underarms and intimate areas.
-
5mm is the ideal hair length for waxing.
-
We recommend you return every 4 - 6 weeks for your follow up treatment.
