How Much Do Lash Extensions Really Cost?
If you've been thinking about getting lash extensions, you're probably wondering what you'll need to spend. The good news is that there are options for almost every budget, but prices can be all over the place depending on what you want.
Breaking Down the Different Types

Classic lashes are your basic option. They look natural and give you that "I woke up like this" vibe. In the UK, you'll pay between £60 and £100 for a full set. Most salons charge around £75 to £95. If you just want a half set to try things out, expect to pay £50 to £75.
Volume lashes are thicker and more dramatic. Because they take longer to apply and use more lashes, they cost more. A full set runs between £85 and £180. If you want mega volume (the really thick, Instagram-worthy look), you're looking at £150 to £225 or even more.
Hybrid lashes mix classic and volume techniques together. They give you a nice balance between natural and full. Most salons price these between £100 and £155 for a full set, though you might find them as low as £85 or as high as £170.
Don't Forget About Refills
Here's the thing people often forget: lash extensions aren't a one-time cost.
Your natural lashes fall out naturally every few weeks, and your extensions go with them. You'll need refills every 2 to 3 weeks to keep them looking good. Refills usually cost between £35 and £75 each time.
When you do the math, that means you could spend £1,500 to £2,400 per year just on maintenance. That's worth thinking about before you commit.
Where You Live Matters
Location makes a huge difference in price. If you're in Central London, get ready to pay more. Salons there charge £130 to £170 for mid-range services, and fancy boutiques can charge £140 to £225 or higher. Outside the big cities, prices drop quite a bit.
You can check our prices to see how we compare. While we don't consider our prices the cheapest, we consider our standard, quality and satisfaction above average. That is our promise :-)
What Affects the Price?
Several things change how much you'll pay.
More experienced lash techs charge more because they're faster and better at their job. Makes sense, right?
Salons with nice setups and good reputations also charge premium prices compared to someone working from home.
The type of lashes matters too. Real mink lashes cost more than synthetic ones. And if you want something custom designed just for your eye shape, that'll bump up the price.
Other Costs to Know About
If you ever want to take your extensions off completely, removal services cost £15 to £35. Some salons will remove them for free if you're getting a new full set done right after.
Is It Worth It?
Only you can decide if lash extensions fit your budget. They definitely save time in the morning since you don't need mascara. But the ongoing cost is real.
Think about whether you're ready for the regular appointments and the money you'll spend every few weeks to keep them looking fresh. Some people love the convenience and never look back. Others try it once and decide it's not for them, which is totally fine.
One thing I will say though - if you do decide to go for it, don't cheap out too much.
Your eyes are delicate and you want someone who knows what they're doing applying things that close to them. A few extra pounds for an experienced tech is worth it for safety alone.
