Appointments

Please arrive on time to your appointment. Clients who are late will be subject to cancellation if the remaining time does not allow for the full treatment to be carried out. In some cases a cancellation fee will be required. All appointments require a non refundable deposit. Please read the full terms and conditions prior to booking.

You will need to complete a consultation form prior to your appointment. You will also need to familiarise yourself with the appointment instructions and after care. Please let your therapist know of any concerns prior to your appointment. You must keep your therapist informed of any changes in your health when you return for repeat treatments. Failure to adhere to the before and aftercare will affect the life of your treatment.

Prior to you Spray Tan

  • You will need to fill in a client consultation form and understand the following. Failure to adhere to the before and aftercare will affect the life and look of your tan

  • You will need to have a patch test 24 - 48 hours before your treatment

  • Ensure you have shaved or waxed 24 - 48 hours prior to your spray tan, failure to do so can result in dotting in pores

  • Exfoliate regularly, especially the night before your spray tan (focus on particularly dry skin areas such as knees, elbows hand a feet and any other dry areas you may have

  • If possible paint your nails to avoid discolouration (even if it’s a quick clear coat on your fingers and toes).

  • Remove make up, deodorant, moisturiser and perfume before your appointment as the above can react with the tan and cause a barrier on the skin. Preferably do not wear the above on the day of your tan.

  • Wear loose dark clothing after your appointment, along with flip flops or loose fitting shoes. This is to avoid the product rubbing off onto your clothes from your skin and interrupting the developing time. Any stains of clothing can easily be washed out. However nylon is to be avoided.

  • Wear dark underwear or request disposable underwear from your therapist.

  • Contact lenses are to be removed for treatment.

  • You will need to remove jewellery prior to your tan.

  • You will need to let your therapist know what type of tan you are trying to achieve, how well you tan normally in the sun and if you have had a spray tan before.

  • For your own comfort let the therapist know if you want to keep your bra or any other item of clothing on during your spray tan.

  • Please note that covered areas will not tan.

Beach Time

Aftercare

  • Leave the tan to develop for the recommended amount of time. Your therapist will let you know how long to keep the tan on for

  • After leaving the tan on for the recommended amount of time shower in warm water until the water runs clear and gently pat dry

  • Avoid exercise, perspiring or getting wet during the development time

  • Going swimming or long baths will fade your developed tan quickly

  • Use a good SPF (sun protector factor) when in the sun, sunless tanning does not protect you from harmful UV rays

  • Moisturise daily with an oil free moisturiser

  • Start to exfoliate 4 days after your spray tan to encourage a gentle even fading

  • Avoid tinting eyelashes or brows for 48 hours.
