Shave every day or wax once a month

Gold Beautique offer a wide range of waxing treatments for men and women. We use top of the range products to compliment different skin types and areas of hair.

Bare Neck

It is normal to have the following:

  • Erythema (redness) and should fade within 24 hours - 48 hours

  • Bumps, as the hair is removed directly from the root

  • Blood spotting for deeper hairs such as bikini-line, underarm and chest.

24 hours following waxing you should avoid the following:

  • Hot baths or showers

  • Any perfumed products for 24 hours ie: Perfumed soaps/cleansers/body creams, fake tan

  • Tight clothes that might rub or chafe

  • Deodorant or anti-perspirant

  • Swimming, Saunas, jacuzzi's or any form of heat treatment

  • Sunbathing or use of sun beds

  • Scratching the treated area

  • Make-up (facial waxing only).

Ensure the following:

  • Exfoliate and moisturise the skin regularly (after 24 hours)

  • Do not shave in between waxes.

Failure to follow the above advice may lead to:

  • In-growing hairs and irritation

  • Infection of the skin

  • Redness or rash that will last longer the 24-48 hours.

You may notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so. It can take up to 4 treatments for your hair to get on a growth cycle that gives the best results
