Failure to follow the below advice may lead to treatment complications or affect the desired results.
If you have any other queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your therapist.

Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated

Do not drink alcohol, caffine or stimulant drinks for 24 – 48 hours

Do not exercise for 24 – 48 hours

Do not use steam rooms, saunas, swimming pools or sun beds for 24 – 48 hours

Do not apply make-up, retinol or abrasive skin products for 24 – 48 hours
-
Avoid facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, microdermabrasion, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks after treatment

Use arnica cream or Aloe Vera to soothe the area

Do not take medication which has blood thinning agents such as aspirin. – always check with your GP before stopping any medication.

If you have significant swelling contact your therapist as soon as possible

If you have any adverse medical reaction, seek medical help immediately.A rare complication of Profhilo is vascular occlusion in which a blood vessel is accidentally blocked with the product. Signs and symptoms include throbbing and aching pain which can be severe, paleness, a cold feeling to the tissue and purple streaky mottling tissue changes. If you notice any of these symptoms you must contact your practitioner for advice as soon as possible.
Appointments
Please arrive on time to your appointment. Clients who are late will be subject to cancellation if the remaining time does not allow for the full treatment to be carried out. In some cases a cancellation fee will be required.
All appointments require a non refundable deposit. Please read the full terms and conditions prior to booking.
You will need to complete a consultation form prior to your appointment. You will also need to familiarise yourself with the appointment instructions and after care. You must keep your therapist informed of any changes in your health when you return for repeat treatments.
Failure to adhere to the before and aftercare will affect the life of your treatment.
